The hotel is perfectly situated at the base of the mountain road, offering unbeatable access to outdoor activities and local attractions. The rooms may have a slight moldy odor and were overly warm on one night, but they are equipped with standard bathrooms. The service is exceptional, with staff going the extra mile to ensure a seamless stay. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to the Old Coach Road track and mountain facilities nearby. The dining surprises with a continental self-serve breakfast and a la carte options, though not ideal for children. Overall, a fantastic stay with minor room issues.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with double washbasins and shower over bath, complimentary toiletries, and tea/coffee facilities. The spa bath was a nice touch, and the room was really well heated during my stay. However, the lack of family-friendly amenities like cots in the condos was a downside for the price.

I loved that I could conveniently hire ski gear from the lodge, and the proximity to restaurants onsite was a bonus. The hotel's location directly across from the river and close to good short walks added to the overall experience.
